How to Buy Trappist Westvleteren?

Orders must be picked up at the sales centre at the Abbey and are never shipped.

How do I create an account?
At the top of the webpage, under account you have the link “create account”. First create a profile with your personal information: name, address, date of birth, e-mail address and the number plate of the car with which you will pick up the order. For customers who come with a rental or shared car, the number plate must be registered latest 24 hours before pickup. Choose a strong password to secure your account.
When is my account active?
After entering your data, you click on the button "Confirm" at the bottom of the page and you will see the message: " We have received your information. Please validate your registration by clicking on the link in the mail we are sending you now. You must click on the link in this mail to validate your registration. You will not be able to make a purchase until this has happened. If you do not receive this e-mail, also check whether it is not in your "Spam" or "Junk" folder.”
After confirming this link in your mail, your registration is complete. Now you will be able to log in during the opening hours of the web store. Your registration remains valid even after a purchase.
When can I buy Trappist Westvleteren?
Check the calendar of the web store for it’s opening hours and choose an opening time that corresponds to pick-up times that suit you to pick up your order. The opening time of the shop and corresponding pickup times are linked to each other and are indicated by the same background colour. You cannot yet select a pickup time here. This is only possible during ordering. You also cannot choose a pickup time outside the moments that are linked to that opening time of the web store. These opening times and pickup times are regularly updated for the coming weeks.
How does a sales moment go?
During the chosen sales moment, log in with your profile. On the page "Beer sales" you now see the link "Order now". You then enter a waiting room until it is your turn. You can add other products to your shopping basket while waiting. You must keep that screen open whilst waiting, otherwise you lose your turn.
When it is your turn, you go on to purchase beer and you have 10 minutes to complete your order. Choose a maximum of 3 crates of beer with a maximum of 2 crates of the same type from the types of Trappist that are currently still available.
Now select a date and time from the pickup times that are still available and that are shown on the calendar. After this step we send a code to your phone. Enter this code and you will be redirected to the payment platform.
Enter the requested payment card details on the payment platform. When your payment has been successfully processed, you will return to our website and your order is complete.

When your payment has been successfully processed, you will return to our website and your order is complete. We will now send you an email with a summary of your order as well as a unique QR code. It is imperative that you can present this QR code at pickup.
The order cannot be picked up without a valid QR-code!!
Your order will be available to you on the agreed date and time in the sales centre at the Abbey. Orders are never shipped.
Can I pick up a different order?
Upon pickup, a check is also made on the license plate against the license plate registered in your profile. This means that you must pick up your order with that car and that you cannot take another order with you, even if you have the QR-Code.
When can I return empty goods?
Upon pickup of your order, you can also return your empty goods and receive a refund for the deposit of these empty goods from a previous order.
Empty goods can also always be returned to the sales centre at the Abbey at any time during the collection times indicated on the calendar of this website. Bring then your customer number so that it can be registered on your account.
